‘STILL SOMEBODY–Voices for Change’

Westcourt Camera Club has worked alongside Rosemount House to create a photographic exhibition for the Four Corners Festival which aims to increase awareness of and encourage discussion around the grim reality of homelessness in our city.

Some of the photographs were taken by residents in supported accommodation at Rosemount House while others were produced by camera club members inspired by the testimonies of people with lived experience of homelessness.

The theme of this year’s Four Corners Festival is ‘Dreams’. No one ever dreams that they will end up homeless. But the latest figures show that we have almost 24,500 households with homeless status. And last year we had 6,700 children and 3,481 families accepted as homeless.

The images you will see are powerful, evocative and speak the truth about some of the circumstances and factors that force people into homelessness. Our aim is to stress the scale and scope of the problem here and show that it can happen to anyone.

Open Monday-Friday 11am-5pm Saturday-Sunday 12-5pm. All welcome.
