PAINT, POTTS and POLITICS exhibition by Stephen POTTS is now open. Stephen is a retired consultant paediatric surgeon based at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children. He was at the forefront of developing laparoscopic surgical techniques in children carrying out research in association with the Ashby Institute of Engineering at QUB.
In 1993 he was a member of the first Irish (and British) team to ascend the north face of Mount Everest.
Stephen started to paint with purpose during the Covid pandemic.Stephen is a great admirer of Goya principally because of how he addressed political issues of the period, but also the great range of his subject matter.
Open 11am-5pm Monday-Friday and 12-5pm on Saturday. All welcome.
