Surroundings

An Exhibition By Latisha Rehill

3rd June - 12th June 2021

We are delighted to open again with our first exhibition of the year with Artist Latisha Reihill.

“Surroundings” is a body of work which tells the visual story of the artist experiences of her surroundings from childhood into adulthood. The places are revisited through memory with a new perspective. “Abstract shapes and colours begin to emerge from the canvas through subconscious memory, resurfacing to life through the movement of the brush strokes.

Latisha is a Fermanagh born artist from a multidisciplinary fine art background. Reihill studied Contemporary fine art in Edinburgh before moving to Belfast to study painting at the Belfast School of Art where she graduated with an honour degree. She currently works out of her studio at Blackstaff mill in Belfast where her paintings come to life. As well as being a successful artist she is also the Co-Director of Platform art Gallery in Belfast.

The opening night is on Thursday 3rd June at 6pm. The show will run until the 12th June 2021.

We are looking forward to welcome you back!
