'BRING YOUR OWN GHOSTS' by Gerard Torbitt
Belfast artist Gerard Torbitt presents his solo exhibition 'BRING YOUR OWN GHOSTS' - a series of vivid, colourful and often disturbing paintings, started during the isolation of lockdown, a solo residency in Cushendall’s curfew tower, and during recent separation, exploration and relocation.
These synaesthesia inspired pieces explore and illustrate my mental health journey in terms of magick, personal demons and folklore. It is an eclectic, illuminating mix of work that I hope will allow others to also shine a light on their darker shadows.
